Coopers Coop

.

This is a 96 year old cedar log barn proubly built by the Alymers, one of the original homesteaders in Queens Bay. In 1981 John began raising chickens here. For 24 years his foul population represented the Fisher Ave. Egg Co.until the weasels, coyote and, skunks put an end to it.After several years of reprive John, Kathleen and about a dozen friends excaveted at least 2 feet of prime garden manure from inside, instaled a floor and let the sunshine in. After much pressure washing, the log walls revealed the beauty of their rustic origin, a chandlier and paintings were instaled and with a pot luck dinner our gallery opened for business.

What appears to be a humble heritage shack becomes
